Tim Richardson, DDS, FAAPD

Dr. Tim Richardson grew up in Vancouver, Washington and attended college at Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He attended dental school at the University of Washington, where he was the recipient of several awards, including
· Most Distinguished Scholar in Pediatric Dentistry
· American Dental Association/Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Preventive Dentistry Scholar Award
· Washington Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry Service Award
· ADA Certificate of Recognition for Volunteer Service in a Foreign Country
· Donald E. Compaan Service Award
· Charles V. Callihan Memorial Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Richardson completed a 2-year specialty training program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Richardson came to Eugene, Oregon to help open A Kidz Dental Zone in July 2011. He continues his commitment to service-oriented education today as he pursues a Masters Degree in Public Health through the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Richardson pursues lifelong learning through activity in the following dental associations:

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Richardson spends time with his wife and three young children. He enjoys everything outdoors, including gardening, cycling, hiking, and sports. He is active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including having served a two-year mission in Germany, and has served several years as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America.

J. Kyle House, DDS, FAAPD (Founder)
J. Kyle House, D.D.S., of Hood River Oregon received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He served as a General Dentist in the US Army for 5 years prior to attending his Pediatric Dental Residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA and the University of Washington. After completion of his residency, Dr. House completed his military service at Ft. Hood, TX in 1994. Upon leaving the Army he took the position of Director of Pediatric Oral Medicine at Scott & White Hospital Systems in Temple, Texas where he served for five years. While there, House co-founded the Children's Special Needs Network to provide services to families with Special Needs children ranging from education and advocacy to respite care. Dr. House completed his Pediatric Dental Board Certification in April 1996. Dr. House moved to Oregon to open his private practice in Hood River in 1999. He served as the Pediatric Dentistry Examiner for the Oregon Board of Dentistry from 2000 - 2004.
Always interested in politics, advocacy and access to care for children, Dr. House has served on both the Oregon Dental Association's and the AAPD's Council of Government Affairs and has attended the AAPD's Introductory and Advanced Legislative Workshops as well as the AAPD Lobby Days in Washington, D.C. He organized and incorporated both the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the AAPD's Region 6, co-founding the Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry and serving as the president of both organizations for two years, from 2001-2003. Dr. House has served as the Vice-Chairman of the Board and Chair of Finance for Oregon Child Development Coalition (Migrant Head Start of Oregon) since 2002. Dr. House also serves as the Head Start Region X Oral Health Consultant providing technical assistance and oral health leadership to the Head Start programs in Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Alaska.
In addition to the four clinics that currently comprise the group practice he founded (three in Oregon and one in the Tri-Cities, WA) Dr. House also serves as a Consultant to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has assisted in providing their Oral Clinical Exams since 2006. House also serves as Chairman of the Advantage Dental Community of Companies, a network of 900 dentists in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, where the philosophy of the company is to develop unique and innovative ways to increase access through collaboration with local private dentists and a mix of affordable insurance, a unique Medicaid provider model, public sector whole life integration and a dedication to advancing prevention through new science, strong political advocacy and community collaboration.
